Children's Church
We have several key areas we focus on to work towards the same vision we have for the wider church family: Helping people become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ . . .
Developing a sense of belonging in both Children's Church and the wider church family.
Growing Bible story knowledge and Bible skill to access these stories in an age appropriate way.
Encouraging a greater hunger for prayer that is heart-felt and age appropriate.
Using each of the above to make a difference in our daily lives.
We currently have a intermittent volunteer leaders stepping up to run children's church. Unfortunately, it may not possible to run every Sunday until we get permanent volunteers signed up again. If you have a passion for children's work and want to help out on a Sunday, please feel free to get in touch with any of the Oversight Team members (see Contacts tab for details).
Our children's church support and pray for two 9 year old Bangladesh boys. On the left below is Tripura Amit, and on the right is Tripura Sushil. Children's church writes letters back and forth a few times a year, encouraging these boys in their faith and education.
Youth Group
We aim to disciple our youth to be followers (seekers and servants) of Jesus Christ, to encourage our youth in their God-given gifts, and to build a strong, supportive Christian community of young people maturing in their faith and fellowship.
Youth group is currently in recess, but we are working on getting something going again in the near future.
Life and Bible Study Groups
A great way of getting to know people in the church is to come along to one of the small groups that meet outside of the Sunday service time slot. Get in touch with any of the Oversight Team members if you are interested in joining a small group (see Contacts tab for details).
Worship Team
If you have been gifted musically and want to join with others to serve the church on Sunday mornings, we would love to hear from you. There is room for mucisians, singers and also "tech folk" on the sound/media desk.
